Luxury Private Adventures

The very essence of traveling to Africa is about having an adventure. An adventure does not need to be a hard core physical undertaking it is about you visiting new places, quenching the need to explore and tapping into who you really are.

To make your adventure more personalized and flexible we are launching a concept that is a 1st for Africa; Luxury Private Adventures with your very own Private Adventurer. Your personal adventurer comes with all the state of the art adventure kit you need including a mobile tented camp, mountain bikes, kayaks and most importantly a team to set up and break camp for you.

The idea is you decide where you want to go and we look at opportunities within your itinerary to get you off the beaten track and spend a few days on a real adventure. This allows you to combine boutique hotels and luxury safari lodges with a much more down to earth experience.

Adventures include 3 day mountain bike trails through big five country or along unpopulated coastlines, 3 day hikes from Cape Point to Table Mountain, 5 day kayak trips down the remote Pongola River in Kwa Zulu Natal, 3/5 day self-supported kayak trip to remote Mozambican islands, 3/8 day Fishing safaris staying on uninhabited Okavango Delta islands.

We take your interests, fitness levels and tailor an adventure to suit you. The real advantage of being on a personal adventure is you have complete flexibility whilst on the move. If you arrive on one island and it’s complete paradise why not stay longer? If day 1 was harder than expected take day 2 easy. You don’t need to follow others the very essence of an adventure is having the freedom to explore at your own pace.

A 3 day personal adventure costs in the region of $950 per person depending on location and activities included (extra days aprox $250 per person). This price includes all the equipment, back up staff, food, drink and most importantly you’re Private Adventurer. Click here for more details on our private adventurer.
